Creating a podcast lifeline for architects and designers

The COVID-19 pandemic put an immediate stop to industry events across the board, and with good reason. That left many companies scrambling for ways to engage with their audience, enabling them to continue to network and focus on their professional development, even without being able to do so in-person.

The creative

Podcast consumption was continuing to rise, and Interface’s passion for sharing knowledge and innovation has always made an impression on us. A podcast series was a natural fit, establishing the manufacturer as a brand publisher.

The first series of Designing with Climate in Mind featured guests as varied as Interface’s Head of Sustainability, John Khoo, activist-turned-climate scientist Dr Ella Gilbert, Munish Datta from the agenda-shaping UK Green Building Council, explorer and broadcasters Paul Rose and managing director of industry disrupting Iceland Foods, Richard Walker.
